The Sunday Long Run season ends this week with the Boston Marathon. If you can’t run that, you can still meet up with us at Brueggers at 8AM for a run just for the fun of it. This week we’ll be running to Horn Pond. This is a great 14+ mile run!
Waterstops: From here on out there are no official organized waterstops. I’ll take the one green bucket of stuff left over from the training and bring it and each week we’ll pass it along to someone who will bring it out on the course. This week Sue Clough has volunteered to start 3 miles into the route to give us a waterstop. If anyone else is interested in running parts of the course let us know.
See you at 8AM!
In unless it is raining!
I’ll be there. Can’t resist the Horn Pond run and all the sightings. Can I hop in your car for a ride back to Brueggers, Sue? For an 11+ run for me. Trying to maintain the longer Sunday runs until the Run to Remember.
Ginny,
I will give you a ride or you can drive my car back to Melrose. I’m hoping to run back depending on my foot. Bruised it really bad by dropping the iron on it yesterday..Ouch!
i’m in! Horn Pond – Woo Hoo! I will leave my car at Horn Pond for the water stop there. Nancy said she’d pick me up. I wonder if i should go to the store now or find a way to get supplies in the morning… ?
I think I might meet you all over at Horn Pond. I’m going to attempt my first run since Hopkinton. Two miles sounds about right. If it doesn’t feel good, I’ll just walk. At least there will be lots of sights to keep me entertained!
I’m up for 11+. Can I get a ride back to Brueggers with you Ginny?
Love Horn Pond!
Lois, I’ll pick you up at Horn Pond at 7:45.
Thanks, Nancy. See you then. I’ll get some water, gatorade and something sweet for us all to eat.
