While most runners would have run in the street, the snow banks made the roads narrow and more dangerous for runners.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that postponing the race to February 18th won&#8217;t inconvenience too many people. I know I plan my races around work and family events. Sometimes I race two weekends in a row and a situation like this would be an issue.<\/p>\n<h2>Winter Weather<\/h2>\n<p>This time of year anything can happen. Two years ago snowmageddon started this way. A good storm the week after The Super Bowl and then one storm right after the other.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday Long Run was a challenge this weekend. It was snowing, the streets were narrow and the side walks were in rough shape.<\/p>\n<p>There is a blizzard watch being posted sometime Sunday.
