Just a quick update. I added the wrong race to our list by mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race for our series is the WAAV Racing to end Domestic Violence 5K<\/strong>. I added a link to a race in Maine. I’m sure they can use our support, but we like to keep support local where we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can run this 5K anytime between October 1st and October 7th and it is of course a virtual race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration is $30 and all runners will receive a Cooling Gaitor Face mask with logo. Register by October 1st and they will mail yours to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While a shirt is nice, a gaitor is extremely useful these days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month<\/strong>. This year’s race will be virtual due to gathering restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race is from 10\/1-10\/7. Run or walk your favorite 5k route and take a picture of yourself and your time\/route once complete and post it to social media using the hashtag #racingtoenddomesticviolence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To sign up, go to the “Racing to end Domestic Violence” on the race list and donate $30. Every runner will receive a Cooling Gaitor Face mask with logo. For those who sign up before 10\/1, masks can be picked up at the town hall in Wakefield during their business hours at the front desk from 9\/28-9\/30. For those who sign up after 10\/1 we will email you and make arrangements for receipt of your mask. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
